Edge 14®

A revolutionary new series of feeds supported by Edge Technology, such as Edge 14®, shows recent research breakthroughs. Research shows that feeds with high levels of cereal grains result in an exceptionally high glucose level 2-4 hours after eating. Insulin produced during digestion of starch (cereal grain) may hinder proper skeletal development and integrity.

Edge Technology-based products are formulated using “superfibers” which are digested as fiber in the cecum, but have the unique ability to provide readily accessible forms of digestible energy, equivalent to 90% the value of oats. These sources are paired with vegetable oil which is 2 ¼ times more energy-dense than cereal grains.
