A revolutionary new series of feeds supported by Edge Technology, such as Edge 14, shows recent research breakthroughs. Research shows that feeds with high levels of cereal grains result in an exceptionally high glucose level 2-4 hours after eating. Insulin produced during digestion of starch (cereal grain) may hinder proper skeletal development and integrity.

Edge Technology-based products are formulated using “superfibers” which are digested as fiber in the cecum, but have the unique ability to provide readily accessible forms of digestible energy, equivalent to 90% the value of oats. These sources are paired with vegetable oil—2 ¼ times more energy-dense than cereal grains.
